LOUISBURG - Barbara Shearon Harrelson, 84, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 10, 2019. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at Maple Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the burial in the church fellowship hall.

Barbara was a daughter of the late Raymond W. and Mozelle W. Shearon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph "Doc" Harrelson; daughter, Cindy M. Jones; son, Tony Moss; sister, Kaye Bottoms; brothers, Ben-A Gupton and Jimmie Gupton.

Surviving: sons Marty (Cathy) Moss of Castalia, Barry Moss of the Philippines; sister, Jean S. Bunn of Lecanto, FL; brother, Dan (Florine) Gupton of Angier; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Maple Springs Baptist Church, 1938 NC Hwy. 56 E., Louisburg, NC 27549.
