WAKE FOREST--Michael Dexter Cooley, 63, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2019. Public viewing: will be from 12 - 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019 at Lea Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC. Wake will be 6:30- 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral, 715 Nazareth Street, Raleigh. Interment will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, Wake Forest.

Surviving: wife, Nancy Cooley of the home; sons, Michael Cooley of Charlotte and Phillip Cooley of Raleigh; sisters, Yvonne Davis of Louisburg, Paulette Barnes (Fred) of Zebulon, Cathy Palmer (William) of Knightdale, and Velecia Harris of Raleigh; brothers, Dwayne Cooley of Bunn and Frank Davis of Louisburg; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
