ZEBULON--James Christopher "Chris" Webb, 55, of the Pilot Community died at his residence on Monday afternoon, Dec. 23, 2019. A memorial service was held Saturday, Dec. 28, at Pearce Baptist Church. 4634 Pearces Rd., Zebulon, with the Revs. Mark Cottrell and Roscoe Davis officiating. Immediately following the service, a celebration of Chris' life was held at the church fellowship hall.

He was born to the late Sam Cecil and Alberta Collins Webb.

Surviving: wife, Melody Champion Webb; daughter, Sydney Jo Webb; son Dylan Christopher Webb; siblings Linda Fields Simpson (Bill), Brenda Joseph (Steve), Joey Webb (Minada) Kathy Breeding Collins, Carol Baker (David), Cecilia Smith (Ricky), and Craig Webb.
