LOUISBURG--Funeral services for James "Hop" Strickland, 67, who died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, will be held Thursday, Jan. 2, at 1 p.m. at Rowland Chapel Christian Church in Henderson, with Pastor Ronald Regular officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowland Chapel Church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Shirley Davis Strickland of the home; daughter, Pamela Strickland Kearney (Vashon) of Louisburg; sons, James T. Strickland (Angel) and Michael Strickland, all of Youngsville; brother, Al Strickland (Ann) of Louisburg; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 1, from 3 until 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
