CASTALIA - Barbara Dorsey Vaughan, 76, died Sunday morning, Jan. 12, 2020 at her home. The family will receive friends 1 - 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Barbara was a daughter of the late Louis and Ruth Dorsey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Vaughan Jr., and her brother, Tony Dorsey.

Surviving: daughter, Cathy (Marty) Moss; sons, Tim Vaughan and Rodney Vaughan, all of Castalia, Ken Vaughan of Franklinton; sisters, Deborah (Tom) O'Donohue of Youngsville, Chris (Tracy) Bonvillian of Louisburg; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
