LOUISBURG--Funeral services for James Leonard "J. P." Perry, 73, who died on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. at Rocky Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg, with Pastor Rory E. Sneed officiating.

Surviving: daughter, Janie Perry Coleman of the home; sons, Derrick Perry (Tierra) and Lathan Hartsfield (Alicia), all of Raleigh; mother, Josephine Bryant Perry of Franklinton; sisters, Paulette Yarborough (Willie) of Clinton, MD, Rita Wortham (Xavier) of Youngsville, Sharon Arbnot (Terrance) of Accokeek, MD, Lucy Williams (Willie) of Perth Amboy, NJ; brothers, Weldon Perry (Mary Frances), Claude Perry (Joyce) and Bernard Perry, all of Franklinton; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
