LOUISBURG--Doris Ayscue Wynne, 88, died Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Transition LifeCare Hospice House. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Chris Fair and the Rev. Frank Sossaman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive family and friends at other times at the home of Lisa Edwards.

She was born to the late Ernest and Ida Edwards Ayscue. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Johnson Wynne; also her brother, Frank Ayscue; and two grandchildren.

Surviving: her children, Danny Ray Wynne of Louisburg, Sheila W. Lewis (Mike) of Chesapeake, VA, Timothy J. Wynne (Rachelle) of Louisburg, Kathryn Ketter-Coates (Tony) of Cary, Michael L. Wynne (Cindy) of Louisburg, Lisa W. Edwards (Harold) of Louisburg, Craig Wynne (fiancée Lisa) of Louisburg; 13 grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren.
