LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Carlton "Broba" Solomon, 63, who died Tuesday, March 17, 2020, will be held Tuesday, March 24, at 1 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Chapel in Louisburg with the Rev. Elaine Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Eugenia Solomon of the home; daughters, Gwen Ingram of Fort Meade, MD, Brittany Cooley of Charlotte; son, Christopher Hayes of Durham; sisters, Hilda Solomon of Louisburg, Shirley Thorpe of Chapel Hill; brothers, Cornelius Solomon of Louisburg; Ricky Thorpe (Neicy) of Leland, Tony Thorpe of Fayetteville, Anthony Thorpe of Garner; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
