LOUISBURG - Chick Eugene T. Wlliams, a native of Louisburg, died Friday, July 27, 2007, at Louisburg Nursing Center. Funeral service was held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lancaster Funerals and Cremations with the Rev. Jack Edge officiating. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery with Military Rites.

Chick is survived by his brother, Jerry Williams of Raleigh, many nieces and nephews, and four step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Lee, and her daughter, Lorine Caveness; sisters, Louise Collier and Tennie Waters; brothers Harold and Elmo Williams.

Chick owned and operated several restaurants and grills in Louisburg for many years. He served great food but will always be remembered for his humor and rapport with his friends and customers.

The family received friends Sunday one hour prior to the service at Lancaster Funerals and Cremations, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg.
