LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Jerry Wright, 65, who died Monday, June 29, 2020, was held Sunday, July 5, at 1 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with the Rev. Thelma McClean officiating. Burial followed in the Haywood Church cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Gwendolyn Wright of the home; daughters, Jernika Wright of Raleigh, Sherrie Davis of Louisburg, Talula Davis of Knightdale, Princess Solomon of Durham; sons, Keon Cannady of Louisburg, Jerry Wright Jr. of Raleigh; his mother, Gracie Mae Branch of Louisburg; sisters, Debra Alexander of Raleigh, Joyce Crawley (Fletcher), Alberta Branch, Beatrice Kearney (Wayne), Mattie Solomon, Lizzie Mae Bood; brothers, Melvin Wright (Mattie), Levon Wright (Tracey), Wilbert Wright (Betty), Charles Wright, Johnnie Branch (Cora) and Joel Branch (Clara), all of Louisburg; and seven grandchildren.
