LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Sophia Livingston Brodie, 90, who died Sunday, July 5, 2020, will be held Thursday, July 9, at 11 a.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, with Bishop Michael Alston Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Greater Ransom Way of the Cross cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Gwendolyn Brodie and Eunice Gant, both of Rocky Mount; sons, Ernest Brodie of Castalia, Wilton Brodie of Louisburg; sisters, Pauline Clifton of Paterson, NJ, Ailean Bryant of Bunn, Justine Lifsey of Newport News, VA, Pearline Kelly (Freddie) of Rolesville; brother George Livingston (Teresa) of Louisburg; eleven grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
