MIDDDLESEX--Faye Morgan Cone, 90, formerly of the Pilot community in Zebulon, died Wednesday night, Sept. 2, 2020. A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, Sept. 13, at Samaria Baptist Church cemetery, with the Rev. Tyler Cone officiating.

She was born in Nash County, a daughter of the late Henry Columbus Morgan and Bessie Morgan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Cone, and a brother, Wilbur (Jim) Morgan.

Surviving: daughters, Deborah Cone (Chuck) Gallagher of Landrum, SC, and Brenda Cone Sanders (Greg) of Spring Hope; sister, Emily Kelly of Middlesex; brothers, Ted Morgan (Sandra) of Micro and Benny Morgan (Jeanette) of Middlesex; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
