FRANKLINTON--Funeral services for Emma Mae Chavis, 77, who died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020, will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, at 12 p.m. at Mitchiner Grove Baptist Church, Franklinton, with Pas-tor Melvin Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Manasseh Chapel Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Rosemary Cooper and Jean Evans (Kenneth), both of Franklinton; sons, Dean Gill of the home, Alan Gill of Raleigh, Chris Chavis (Shelia) of Franklinton; sister, Beulah Gill of Raleigh; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Mitchiner Grove Baptist Church, Franklinton.
