ROLESVILLE--Funeral services for Cedric Darren "Pops" Hobgood, 54, who died Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 12 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, with Dr. Paulette Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the Per-ry's Missionary Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Nykia Taitt of Brooklyn, NY, Kenya Hobgood-Brown of Benson; sons, Sedric and Xavier Billups, both of Louisburg, and Malike Brown of Benson; his mother, Annie Lee Hobgood of Louisburg; sisters, Barbara Kelly of Newport News, VA, Patricia Baker of Louisburg, Michelle Major of Newport News, VA, Sharon Bourn of Louisburg, Felecia Hobgood-Crudup (Brian) of Bunn, Paulette Alston (Avon) of Knightdale, Tonya Hobgood of Durham; brother, Clarence Hobgood of Durham; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
