LOUISBURG - Barbara "Sue" Horton Lewis, 75, of Louisburg, died Friday evening.

Sue was a daughter of the late John Wesley and Maggie Pearl Horton. She was preceded in death by her sister, Hilda Glover; brothers, Wesley Horton, Hank Horton, Jim Horton and Charlie Horton.

A graveside service was held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The body lay in state at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, September 28, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for those wishing to sign the register and pay their respects.

Sue is survived by her son, Mark Southerland; sister, Ruby H. Gilbert; special nephew, Jason Robbins, and several nieces and nephews.
