FRANKLINTONJohn Robert "Bud" Goodwin, 81, of Franklinton, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020. Memorial services will be private.

He was born on Sept. 4, 1939 to the late William Everette and Alice Godfrey Goodwin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Herbert Goodwin, Dollie Mae Murray, Eddie Lee Goodwin, Frank Goodwin, and Lucille Ray.

Surviving: his daughter, Angela Branch; a brother, Douglas "Whit" Goodwin; a sister, Marie Hodge; three nephews and three nieces.
