FRANKLINTON--Oscar William Harris Jr., (Dilly), 58, who was born February 17, 1962 to the late Oscar William Harris, Sr. and Ophelia Hawkins Harris in Franklin County, died on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Dec. 24, at 1 p.m. at Kinches Chapel Christian Church, with Elder Larry Harris serving as eulogist.

Surviving: wife, Sarah Ann Harris of the home; sons, Trevor and Deontre Harris of the home; and Terry Allen of Louisburg; daughters, Latisha Allen of Louisburg and Latoya R. Hunt of Creedmoor; four sisters, Betty Lawrence (Fred), Alma Williams, and Mable Wortham, all of Franklinton, and Annie Blacknall (William) of Creedmoor; three brothers, Donnell, Eddie, and William Harris, 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
