Joel Keith Matthews, 67, passed January 15, 2021. He was born April 21, 1953 in Nash County to the late Kenneth Earl Matthews and Ruby Mae Moss Matthews.

He is survived by his brother, Richard Matthews (Vandy); one nephew; one niece; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Forest Hill Cemetery Nashville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Momeyer Baptist Church 4967 Momeyer Way Nashville, NC 27856.
