FRANKLINTON--George Wilson Eury, 94, of Franklinton, passed away on January 14, 2021. He was born on January, 3, 1927 to the late Joseph Clay and Myrtle Dement Eury. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Sumner and her husband, Ronald; his brothers, Gerald, Archer, JC, and Ray; his sister, Delores; and his brother-in-law, Bill Seagroves.

George is survived by his wife, Esther Simmons Eury; his daughters, Wanda Aycock (Ron), and Nancy Jones (Butch); six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
