LOUISBURG - Betsy Rose O'Neal Allen, 77, of Louisburg, died Saturday morning.

Betsy was a daughter of the late William W. O'Neal and Kathleen Perry O'Neal Champion. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Holly Allen; sister, Kathy O'Neal Thompson; brother, Buddy O'Neal and her step-father George Champion, Jr.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Betsy is survived by her daughter, Kelley Allen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Mary Helen O'Neal; Wayne and Lynn Champion; special granddaughter, Lyric Allen; granddaughter, Willow Allen; grandson, Elijah King; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Louisburg Baptist Church, P.O. Box 730, Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family would like to thank the staff of Franklin Oaks for the wonderful care they gave to Betsy.
