LOUISBURG, NC- Joyce Ann Banks Allen, 66, of Louisburg, passed away on the morning of January 27, 2021. She was born on March 31, 1954 to the late Carl Eugene and Elsie Rich Banks. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl "Corky" Banks, Jr., Carroll Banks, Kyle Banks, and Butch Lipe.

Joyce is survived by her significant other, Keith Thomas; her three children, Terry Allen, Jr., Angel Kimball (Edward), and Felicia Allen; her four grandchildren, Tyler Tharrington, Jacob Allen-Kimball, Madison Smith, and Tyson Johnson; her sister, Janet; her favorite aunt, Teresa Meadows; and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was a registered nurse and loved nursing. Her life was about taking care of others, she had a big heart, she loved her children, grandchildren and all of their friends. Her doors were always open to anyone. Joyce enjoyed ceramics, sewing and all kinds of crafting.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 31, 2021 in the chapel of Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
