LOUISBURG, NC- William Donald "Rusty" Winstead, 96, of Louisburg, died Friday afternoon, February 5, 2021 at his home.

Rusty was the son of the late Doc and Lillian J. Winstead. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nona Bunn Winstead; sister, Mary Parker Benson; brothers, Closs Winstead, Jerry Winstead and John Winstead.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 at New Hope Christian Church Cemetery.

Rusty is survived by his son, Ray Winstead; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Hope Christian Church, 2779 NC Hwy 98 W., Louisburg, NC 27549
