YOUNGSVILLE, NC--Josephine "Jo" Munn Alford, age 91, of Youngsville, died Tuesday, March 23, 2021. She was a native of Granville County, the daughter of Joseph and Blanche Munn.

Jo is survived by sons, Fred Alford and wife Judy, Jerry Alford and wife Phyllis and Danny Alford and wife Darnell; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and sister Polly Powell and husband David.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, Rev. F G. Alford, and by five brothers and a sister.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 26, at 11 a.m. in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gary McNair officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. Social distancing and face coverings are appreciated.
