ZEBULON, NC -- Charles Gray Mullen, 85, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021. He was born February 28, 1936 in Franklin County to the late Ollie Vance Mullen and Clellie Powell Mullen. Charles was a retired truck driver and farmer.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 5, at Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 874 Pine Ridge Road, Zebulon, NC.

Charles is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shelby Jean Brantley Mullen; son, Charles Keith Mullen; daughter, Sheila Jean Mullen; grandson, Bryan Keith Mullen; great-granddaughters: Alexis Mullen, Aubrey Jean Mullen; sisters: Gladys M. Cone, Barbara Ann Padgett.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by brothers: Steve Mullen, Earl Vance Mullen, Harold B. Mullen; sister, Frances M. Williams.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
