LOUISBURG, NC -- Royster "Junior" Thorne Harris, Jr., 86, of Louisburg transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Brian Center in Durham. He was born August 22, 1933 to the late Royster T. and Alice Hunt Harris.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Harris and his sister, Patsy Ayscue.

He is survived by his wife, Rochelle Murray Harris; sons, Michael Anthony Harris, Timmy Dale Harris, Chad Everrette Harris (Ashley); one grandson; one granddaughter; brothers, Donald Harris (Glenda), Richard Harris (Swannie); sister, Betty Sue Rice (John) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. May 8, 2021 in the chapel of Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
