LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Ms. Johnnie Louise Portis, 83, who died Saturday, May 6, 2006, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at South Main Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Rosby officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Hill.

Surviving: daughters, Janice D. Portis of Henderson and Paulette P. Branch of Durham; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
