FRANKLINTON, NC -- Funeral services for Derrell "Sweet Pea" Parker, Sr., age 59, who died on Friday, July 9, 2021, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021 from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Perry's Missionary Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Alisa Parker of Oxford, NC; one daughter, Shamika Nicole Parker of Oxford, NC; one son, Derrell Parker, Jr. of Roanoke, VA; two sisters, Annie E. Lyon of Creedmoor, NC, Betty Hindsman of Winston Salem, NC; four brothers, Richard Parker of Maryland, Robert Malone (Jennifer) of Durham, NC, Eddie J. Parker, Jr. of Franklinton, NC, Michael Parker (Lolita) of Franklinton, NC; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5 until 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
