LOUISBURG, NC -- Funeral services for Monroe "Pete" Alston, age 64, who died on Saturday, August 28, 2021, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2021 from the St. Stevens Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton with Pastor John D. Joyner officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Stephens Church Cemetery.

He is survived by six daughters, Montrella Alston-Mardenborough (David) of Garner, NC, Cheri Alston of Henderson, NC, Tomeka Thomas of Warrenton, NC, Arnetta Alston of Henderson, NC, Shalanda Alston of Warrenton, NC, Juqakette Alston of Henderson, NC; one son, Christopher Thomas of Rocky Mount, NC; one sister, Sandy Fields (Eugene) of Henderson, NC; two brothers, Randy Alston (Jackie) and Laverne Alston (Clarissa), both of Henderson, NC; 33 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5 until 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
