Ranson "Rant" Person, 83, of Louisburg, NC, died Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

He was born February 18, 1938 in Franklinton, NC, to the late Eugene and Perzell Person.

Ranson was predeceased by his parents, his daughter, Bridgette Dunston, and siblings, Ora Mae Person, James S. Person, Alonza Person, and Mary Hughes.

Survivors: sister, Margaret Young of Baltimore, MD; two sons, James Julius Person of Rahway, NJ and Ransom Lee Person of Willow Springs, NC; two daughters, Karen Regina Jones of Trenton, NJ and Kim Tammy Durham of Piscataway, NJ; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside Service is Saturday, September 18, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Franklinton, NC. Director Joseph B. Cutchins, Jr., CFSP, officiating.

Cutchins Family Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
