LOUISBURG, NC--Outdoor funeral services for Minister Berdie Briggs, age 72, who died on Friday, October 8, 2021, will be held on Thursday, October 14, at 2 p.m. from the Mitchell Baptist Church in Louisburg with Rev. Thelma McClean officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Church Cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Catherine Hedgepeth of Henderson, NC, Fretter and Tawanda Hedgspeth, both of Louisburg, NC; three sons, Timothy Hedgepeth (Sonia) of Zebulon, NC, Murdice Hedgspeth of Louisburg, NC, Bernard Hedgspeth of Youngsville, NC; two sisters, Susie Owens of Newark, NJ, Mary Cooke (Robert) of Kittell, NC; one brother, Larry Hedgepeth (Susie) of Henderson, NC; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 13, from 5 until 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
