LOUISBURG, NC--Funeral services for Matthew Daniel Ruffin, age 35, who died on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, will be at 12 p.m., Thursday, December 9, from the Word Tabernacle Church in Rocky Mount with Pastor James D. Galliard officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Richardson (Levern) of Rocky Mount, NC; his father, Robert Lee Ruffin (Nancy) of Youngsville, NC; a paternal grandmother, Rosa Lee Ruffin of Louisburg, NC; a maternal grandmother, Dorothy Mae Richardson of Spring Hope, NC; four sisters, Takesha Ruffin-Banks (Tavis) of Rocky Mount, NC, Kimberly Ruffin of Youngsville, NC, Shonita Richardson of Wilson, NC, Ebony Bellamy of Glen Burnie, MD; and one brother, Ramondo Leon Ruffin of Knightdale, NC.

Visitation will be 5-6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 8 at Richardson Funeral Home.
