CASTALIA, NC -- Funeral services for Ellis "Ace" Alston, age 99, who died on Sunday, December 26, 2021, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2021 from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Church Cemetery.

He is survived by three daughters, Eula Mae Leonard of Spring Hope, NC, Daphine Thomas (Bobby) and Maxine Perry (Simon), both of Louisburg, NC; two sons, Emanuel Alston (Roshonda) of Jackson, MS, Alton Scarborough of South Carolina; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Friday afternoon from 1 until 2 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
