FRANKLINTON, NC-- Frances Wood Goodwin, 86, of Franklinton died Monday, January 17, 2022. She was born on October 28, 1935, the daughter of the late Henry Clarence and Katie West Wood.

In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband, Eddie Lee Goodwin; sons, Michael Delrow Goodwin, William Stanley Goodwin, and Marty Goodwin; brothers, Perry Lee Wood, Henry Wood, and Douglas Earl Wood; and sisters, Emma Johnson, Edith Perry, Mavis W. Franklin and Claudia Pearl Woodard.

Survivors: sons, Johnnie Goodwin (Shelby); Eddie Goodwin (Jean); five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 1-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, at New Beginnings Church of God of Prophecy, 14 Fairlane Ave. Franklinton, NC, and funeral is 2 p.m. with Pastor Spencer Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
