LOUISBURG, NC--Frederick Douglas Alston, 87 of Louisburg died Wednesday, February 9, 2022. He was born on January 26, 1935, to the late Van and Jessie Kearney Alston.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, February 19, at Roland Chapel Christian Church, 2293 Epsom Rocky Ford Road, Henderson with Pastor Ronald Regular officiating. Burial will be at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia, PA.

He is survived by his wife, Mamie Alston; his children, Antoinette Davis (Bryan), Kimberly A. Foster (Kevin), Roxanne Crews (Stephon), Andrea Alston, Traci Hill (Hampton) and Terrance Randolph; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; his sister, Jessie Baynard (Robert); and his brother, Edwin Blakeney (Dialya), as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
