FRANKLINTON, NC-- Offie Joyner, 71, passed away peacefully at Wake Medical Center on April 7, 2022 with his wife and sons at his side. Offie was born in Franklin County on March 7, 1951 to the late Ernest and Jessie Patterson Joyner.

Offie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Laverne West Joyner of Franklinton; son Randy Joyner and wife, Kim, of Godwin; son Timothy Joyner of Franklinton; and three granddaughters: sister, Alice Hock of Franklinton and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday April 12, at Living Springs Church of God, 708 Winston St., Franklinton, NC with Pastors Bill and Scott Wiggins officiating. The family received friends following the service.
