HENDERSON, NC--Richard Alan McCarroll, 84, of Henderson, formerly of Central Square, NY died June 21, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 30, 1937 in Kearney, NJ to the late Albert and Ada Dunham McCarroll. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Richard Allen McCarroll; and a grandson.

Dick is survived by his wife, Jeanette Merrill McCarroll; their children, Robert McCarroll (Carolyn Coleman-McCarroll), Linda McCarroll, Patrick McCarroll (Gwen), Lori Bugbee, Sandra Jarvis, Elizabeth Spinelli (Peter), and Victoria Howard (Chris); 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and his sister, Jean Hummel.
A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
