RALEIGH, NC-- On June 22, 2022, God called Silas Bernard Monroe to his heavenly home. He was born on August 14, 1958, to the late Margaret Pugh Monroe and Silas Monroe in Franklinton, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday July 2, 2022, at Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklinton, NC 27525.

He was preceded in death by his father Silas, Mother Margaret, and sister Gloria Ann Monroe-Batts. He leaves to mourn his death Three brothers. Dallas (Carolyn) Crudup of Youngsville NC, Leo Crudup, Franklinton, NC and Cleveland Spivey of Creedmoor, NC. Four nieces Shaundlyn (Michael) Parker, LaToya (Dorian)Lewis, Tasha Spivey, and Naziya Lewis. Three Nephews Leo Iron, RaQuahn and ArQuise Neal and other relatives and friends.
