RALEIGH, NC--Jenia Loftin Cannon, 73, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022. She was born March 22, 1949 in Moore County to the late Cletus Cleveland Loftin and Edna Maynor Loftin. She retired after 22 years of service as a courtroom clerk with the NC Clerk of Superior Court.

The family received relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.

A graveside service was held 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens, 7600 ACC Blvd, Raleigh.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Edward "Ed" Nephi Cannon; son, Jonathan Mark Cannon; daughter, Amber Nicole Cannon; step-daughter, Shellie C. Haroski (Ed); grandchildren: Miette Andrews, Django Andrews; step-grandchildren: Cameron Haroski, Kyndal Haroski, Kaitlyn Haroski; sister, Sandy L. Lamm (Steve); brother, Barry Loftin (Linda); sister-in-law, Diane Loftin.

In addition to her parents, Jenia was preceded in death by her brother, Grant Loftin.
