LOUISBURG, NC--Richard Norman Gupton, 76, of Louisburg died July 5, 2022 at Wake Medical Center. He was born on September 26, 1945 to the late Norman and Virginia Radford Gupton. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother, Melvin Gupton and his sister, Judy Gupton.

Survivors: his wife of 53 years, Sandra West Gupton; his son Jonathan Gupton; two grandsons; his sister-in-law, Diane Gupton; and two nieces.

A graveside service was held 11 a.m., Monday, July 11, 2022 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, with Reverend Doug Moore officiating.
