Joyce Ann Murphy Bailey, 71, of Louisburg died September 12, 2022. She was born on June 19, 1951, to the late Paul B. Jr. and Beulah Wood Murphy. In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by a sister, Judy Ritch.

She is survived by her husband, William Earl Bailey, Sr.; her son, William Bailey Jr. (Jessica Dishmon); her daughter, Wendy Fitzgibbon; five grandchildren; her sisters, Betty May, Edna Knight (Michael), and Lorie Perry (Larry); her brothers, Elmas Murphy (Doris), Ronnie Murphy, and Tommy Murphy; her brother-in-law, Jerry Ritch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the Eternity Mausoleum at Lancaster Memorial Park, 2210 Hwy 561 Louisburg, NC.
