RALEIGH, NC -- Gray Smith Haithcock, 87, of Raleigh, died Wednesday night, September 14, 2022.

Born May 6, 1935, Gray was the daughter of the late James H. Smith and Onnie Smith Pruitt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max P. Haithcock and her brother, James Thomas Smith.

At her request, services will be private.

Gray is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Lois S. Ellis and Deborah L. Smith; Gladys S. and Johnny Aycock; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Maple Springs Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, 1938 NC 56 Hwy E., Louisburg, NC 27549.
