LOUISBURG, NC--Samuel Ellis "Sambo" Ferguson, 80, of Louisburg died peacefully in his home on December 11, 2022. He was born on February 13, 1942 to the late John and Florence Woodlief Ferguson.

Sambo is survived by his daughters, Lisa Mills (Gray), Cyndi Autrey, and Tammy Jones (Scott); his eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Peggy Brantley, Bonnie Wood, Mae Finch, and Dorothy Cooke.
