LOUISBURG, NC - Bertha Shearin Phelps Moore, 91, of Louisburg, died Thursday evening, December 15, 2022.

Born November 6, 1931, Bertha was a daughter of the late Johnnie Earl and Viola Pearce Shearin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie P. Moore; a grandson; sister, Ruth S. Parrish; brothers, Hubert Shearin, Roger Shearin and Wilson Shearin.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall after the service.

Bertha is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Mary Helen Phelps; Charles Phelps; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
