LOUISBURG, NC -- Willie Ray Morgan, 59, of Louisburg, died Sunday afternoon, February 26, 2023.

Born September 22, 1963, Ray was a son of the late Harvey and Linda Creech Lowery. He was a mechanic and he loved working on cars and trucks.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Thursday, March 2, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Ray is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheila and Ted Harridge; Mary and David Watson; Jeanie and Jonathan Wilson; girlfriend, Linda Collier; many nieces and nephews.
