Wilson, NC--Funeral services for Ester M. Evans, age 84, who died on Friday, March 31, 2023, will be held 12 p.m., Saturday, April 8, from the Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Church Cemetery.

Born October 25, 1938, she is survived by her husband, Linwood Evans of the home; six daughters, Donell Evans of Nashville, NC, Carmelia Evans of the home, Ruth Ann Evans of Bailey, NC, Doris Williams of Spring Hope, NC, Joyce Brown of Bailey, NC, Leslie Evans of Nashville, NC; three sons, Lindel Evans (Jeanette) of Castalia, NC, Willie Evans of the home, Michael Evans of Nashville, NC; three sisters, Levonnia Hedgepeth of Nashville, NC, Mary Perry of Newport News, VA, Edith Little of Rocky Mount, NC; two brothers, Ollie Richardson (Ruby) of Louisburg, NC, Linwood Richardson (Tempsie) of Rocky Mount, NC; 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing is 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., Saturday at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville.
