LOUISBURG, NC--Bernice Hixicy Allen Alston, age 94, Louisburg, died Saturday, April 1, 2023.

She was born to the late Nalcus Allen and Pauline Edgerton Allen on January 6, 1929 in Franklin County, NC.

Survivors: one daughter, Etta Alston-Burgess of the home, Justin A. Debnam Jr., of Franklinton, one adopted grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Nora Alston Ruffin of Youngsville, NC and Darlene Spivey Alston of Bunn, NC; brother-in-law, Willie Cornelius Ruffin of Bunn; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Service was 1 p.m., Friday, April 7, at First Baptist Louisburg. Pastor Kenneth Alexander, Eulogist, Rev. Hosie Starr, officiated. Interment at Manasseh Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery Franklinton.
