LOUISBURG, NC-- Ellen Louise Hoag Burger, 76, of the Lake Royale Community, Louisburg, died Friday morning, May 12, 2023 at her home.

Born April 26, 1947, Ellen was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen Lutz Hoag. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Holly Burger and son, Paul Burger.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Union Cemetery of Lloyd in Highland, New York.

Ellen is survived by her husband of 58 years, Alonzo Burger Jr.; daughters, Amy Burger, Lonni Lockhart and Ellen Desch; son, Alonzo Burger, III; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
