FRANKLINTON, NC--Ronald Mitchell, 78, of Franklinton, died Thursday May 11, 2023. Ronald was born in Franklin County to Ida Mae Mitchell and Joseph Thomas Mitchell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Bill Mitchell, JT Mitchell, Arnold Mitchell, Charles Mitchell and sisters Barbara Ann Gupton and Flora Jane Zandlo.

Ronald is survived by his children Kathy Mitchell Hunt (Jamie), Ronald Timothy Mitchell (Meredith}, four grandchildren; one sister Betty Mitchell Arnold, and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
