DURHAM, NC--Donnel Haywood, Jr., age 52 of Durham, NC died May 16, 2023.

Donnel was born March 15, 1971 in Manhattan, New York to the late Elder Donnel Haywood Sr. and mother, Lucy Scott Haywood.

He is survived by daughters: Jocelyn, Robin, Jade, and Joi; son, Amir; mother, Lucy Scott Haywood of Youngsville, NC; brother, Travis Haywood (Toma) of Baltimore, MD; three sisters, Latonya Pender (Chad) of Sims, NC, Patrice Haywood, and Claudia Hooker both of Youngsville, NC; and many nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins and friends.

A memorial service was held 11 a.m., Friday, May 26 at the Church of God of Prophecy, Wake Forest. Rev. J.R. Ricks Jr. is the Eulogist, and Rev. Donothan Muldrow, officiating.
