LOUISBURG, NC--William Floyd "Billy" Griffin III, 59, of Peletier, formerly of Louisburg, died July 20, 2023. He was born on December 11, 1963 to the late William F. Jr. and Joyce Eagles Griffin. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Griffin.

Billy is survived by his wife, Lori Barrella Griffin; his daughter and son-in-law, Addie and Jacob Wemyss; his three stepchildren, Briana Lee, Cailyn Joy, and Nicholas; his sister, Jennifer Griffin Panella; a sister-in-law, Dana Griffin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will gather at the home of Bonnie Dickerson 4-6 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2023 to receive friends and anyone wishing to greet the family.
